What you should know about Counselling Services Centre
Our Mission is to urge and empower survivors of sexual assault and abuse and other trauma by providing a professional and culturally good crisis response and counseling service within a safe, supportive and polite environment. I have recently been the Officer in Charge of Adult Sexual Assaults for the Counties Manukau Police District. In 1998 we became a registered Charitable Believe behind temporary our name in 1992 to counseling Services center due to the expanding needs of the Counties Manukau community. counseling Services center Our vision is a healthy, strong, and just community.
Most of our counselors are ABC registered and provide urge for people affected by sexual assault and abuse. By donating pretty things, you will be helping counseling Services center to hoist precious funds to assist promote the emotional health of our community. Yes, anyone is welcome to make an appointment to see a counselor for any issue they would like to have support for. You may wish to invite family and friends to make a donation to counseling Services centers in lieu of engagement wedding birthday gift. Our experienced Crisis Response team provides a 24 hour, 7 day per week call out service for survivors of sexual assault and abuse adults men and women and young people 13 years and over. counseling Services center Our vision is a healthy, strong, and honest community. I have worked at counseling Services center since May 2011 with a different range of children, young people, adults and families. counseling Services center was set up in 1986 as South Auckland HELP Foundation, delivering both counseling and crisis support services. In the course of active in the Manukau community for 18 years, I have worked with victims of domestic and other abuse and am very mindful of the need for organizations such as counseling Services center. I have seen first hand the attainable urge provided to victims of sexual abuse in the initial acute crisis stage of reporting the incident to the police.
I am also mindful of the longer term benefits of providing ongoing counseling, a role that CBC does extremely well and has done so for the people of South Auckland for almost 30 years. The welcoming, friendly and supportive atmosphere makes it sound and definite for myself and my clients. Kim Ara, I have recently joined The counseling Services center and I have lived and worked and trained in South Auckland for maximum of my life. We have contracts with the Ministry of Social Development BSD to yield counseling for children, families and adults.
I worked with Victim Encourage for many years before to graduating which gave me a mighty background in all areas of abuse, and dedication to support and foster people to become survivors. We can also refer you to other services that are superior qualified to face your needs
