They wanted a low maintenance reliable weather station and needed the data to be available to their DCS for alarms on wind speed and direction. The client was a cement manufacturer who was experiencing short thermocouple life in the kiln preheat area due to abrasive wear even when heavy wall alloy sheaths were used. ECEFast began in Certificate of Incorporation as builders of custom made furnaces and ovens in Victoria, Australia. ECEFast not only sources the finest process control instruments from around the world, but also develops and provides popular brands that have been designed and manufactured in house including Platypus level transmitters, Excalibur heavy duty temperature sensors,and ECECal dry block calibrators which can be customised to suit specific needs.
