What you should know about Golfers Dream Tours
We did golf in the South Island of NZ in 2014 and it all worked marvellously well, with great recommendations about where to play, where to stay and how to travel. So of course when we did the North Island in 2016 it was a no contest to go back to Diane who didn’t disappoint. After playing North Island and South Island golf on 2 trips you arranged for us, we have nothing but praise for your advice and organisation. The variety of golf courses, accommodations and activities gave us a better experience then we even knew we were looking for! Scheduled time and free time were perfectly balanced.
Thanks to you, we had the trip of a lifetime, with memories we will always cherish! We thoroughly enjoyed the trip, and we probably couldn’t duplicate the experience. Di organized a splendid individual tour on the beautiful South Island with great golf courses and accommodations . Thank you for all your effort and the great care you took to accommodate our every whim. Just a note to thank you for the outstanding work and organisation you put into our month long golf tour of both North and South Islands of New Zealand. We had a great time in the South Island and all the arrangements for our group of 8 were perfect.
We plan to visit the North Island next year and will certainly have you organize our trip. We recently completed a wonderful Golf and Wine Tour through the North and South Islands of New Zealand. We especially enjoyed and appreciated the personal touch of Di Ray Houghton. They met us upon our arrival in Auckland and briefed us over a lovely lunch and then again saw us off when we departed.
Ray Di arranged a second trip for us in November 2005 visiting some equally special places and we enjoyed their friendship once again. Golfers Dream Tours was established in August 200, is owned and operated by Diane Houghton and her New Zealand PGA Professional husband Ray. Having been involved in the New Zealand golfing industry for over 35 years, we understand the needs of golfers and the importance of personal service. Our aim is to ensure high levels of service, with considerable attention to detail and efficient smooth organisation. We realise that every traveller is unique, with their own individual wants and needs.
Our services are complete accommodations, confirmed tee times, transportation, and on your golf free days, sightseeing opportunities and activities. Your New Zealand Golfing Tour will have golf times, accommodation, transport and any additional activities sightseeing trips pre booked. We choose a range of fine accommodation to suit your own individual style and budget including full service hotels and resorts, Indulgent Luxury Lodges, Star Hotels and Boutique Hosted Bed Breakfast Homes.
