What you should know about HELENE HENARE NEW ZEALAND ARTIST
Over the after few years whilst experimenting in different styles, she continued to sell her artwork to buyers nationally and overseas with many of her pieces now in private collections in the UK, USA, Spain and Australia. She loves to paint in the traditional impressionistic style and enjoys mixing it up a insignificant with her quirky style often mixing the two styles together. In 2012 Helene participated in the Out From Down Under Beyond Nice Art from Australia and New Zealand Exhibition held in May June 2012 at Agra Gallery in New York City. 2014 hoick Village Association Wall Calendar distributed to local businesses and sold to the public.
Throughout her childhood she has eternal excelled at arts and craft but it wasn't until late 2005 when attending classes of well renowned artist and tutor, John Horton, that Helene discovered her passion to paint. Helene's artwork has featured in many calendars as listed below 2012 NZ Art Wall Calendar and published by blackish sold through Retailers nationally 2012 Art Desk Calendar Published by blackish sold through Retailers nationally 2013 NZ Art Calendar published by Tanner Couch. In 2010 Helene again entered the Estuary Artworks 2010 exhibitions and again won the Peoples Choice Award for her Artwork named Tohungia Be Dana i Be Whenua Conserve The Life Of The Land. Helene was born in Wellington and as an infant her family moved to Auckland.
A local retailer requested her to bear cards and prints of her labor which are being sold out of many retailers in hoick and the surrounding area. Sold Nationally to the Business Sector 2013 Art Desk Calendar published by Tanner Couch a blend of Australian and NZ Artists sold to the Australian and NZ Business Sector. In May 2010 Helene was invited to be portion of The Casey Trust in conjunction with Dunbar Sloane NZ Emerging Artists Exhibition and successfully sold three of her four paintings that were entered into the exhibition. Awards People's Finest Award Winner Estuary Artworks 2010 People's Choice Award Winner Estuary Artworks 2009.
Sold Nationally to the Business Sector 2015 Art Desk Calendar published by Tanner Couch a mix of Australian and NZ Artists sold to the Australian and NZ Business Sector. In 2010 Helene was invited by Owairoa Primary School in hoick to tutor a couple of Art Lessons with some very talented Art Students which she found to be both a privilege and very rewarding. 2014 hoick Village Association Desk Calendar distributed to local businesses and sold to the public. Helene is deeply inspired by the pretty Fresh Zealand landscapes and seascapes and is strongly influenced by the native fauna and dazzling beaches of the Coromandel Peninsula where she holidayed every year with her family at Hahei.
Helene paints with acrylics and enjoys the versatility and color that can be achieved. Helene welcomes any inquiries regarding her artwork and is glad to discuss commissions. In 2011 Helene was invited to comply her portfolio which was accepted for representation by Agra Gallery in New York City
