What you should know about Pakuranga Counselling Centre
Pakuranga Counselling Centre is run by a Manager, supported by an Office istrator who manage the office from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, although later appointments and Saturday appointments are available. Pakuranga Counselling Centre has been operating in Auckland since June 1994 under the umbrella of a charitable trust. The centre is governed by a board of trustees who offer a wide variety of skills, experience and knowledge. The centre operates within a budget approved and closely monitored by the board, and the trust's financial statements are audited annually.
We could not offer our affordable counselling service in Auckland without the generous support of our funders. Our qualified counsellors accept self referrals, as well as referrals from medical professionals, schools, community agencies, businesses, government agencies and ministers, etc. To be treated with dignity, cultural sensitivity and respect in a caring and supportive environment. To have access to a complaints process, should you have any concerns or wish to make a formal complaint. In all situations that the welfare and interests of a child or young person are the first and paramount considerations, as outlined in the Children, Young Persons and their Families Act . In six two half hour sessions over 6 weeks this course is full packed of ideas for parents with children 0 6 years. You will also benefit skills in oppose resolution, building on knowledge you already have. Many of our counselors have specialized areas of expertise as healthy as their labor in general counseling. We seek to empower people to make positive changes in their lives by offering a caring, safe and healing environment.
This is when children learn about correct and wrong, and maximum urgent of all, it is during these years that they are tranquil interested in what you, as a parent, think! The six sessions of this course will bear you with the skills and strategies required to be the parent you have eternal hoped to be. These issues can cause untold misery, and hinder a person from reaching their true potential in life. During these six sessions you will discover and apply new tools and strategies to use with your family. Nothing gives parents more pastime than seeing their children grow and mature in the family. We have counselors available at our center in Pakuranga who speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Fiji Hindi and Afrikaans.
Considering family or relationship counseling but not safe what your partner will think or say? This course will enable the participant to grasp why they are the way they are, and how to grow their Self Esteem. Today, because of relationship breakdowns, other family or work related issues, people are struggling with Self Esteem. These are the most imperative years in your child's development! Learn how to lay the building blocks for a vast future. Toolbox is ideal for parents whose children have not yet reached puberty, or are in the premature 'tween' stage of adolescence you won't be caught unprepared and if your children are already in the midst of the teenage years, there is so much in every session you will be qualified to use straight away.
The emphasis on this workshop is to enhance communication within relationships, principally your partner and family
