Geir Knutsen Business Relationship Manager Geir has been with Supreme since 1990, at first as Production Manager and now as Business Relationship Manager. Geir is from Norway, has travelled extensively and has a good understanding of various industry sectors including Mining, Oil Field Services and Defence. Hector Furtado Works Metallurgist Hector has over 35 years’ experience in metallurgical industry, mainly in casting Investment, Sand Centrifugal castings , steel manufacture, fabrication, heat treatment and welding. The main role is to provide Metallurgical advice to internal customers and to understand customer requirements for new and existing products and helps convert them to reality.
Also to help business development team by evaluating customer specifications and requirements with respect to material material selection, testing, heat treatment, and metallurgical analysis. He is also involved in project management and providing metallurgical support to customers. He is one of Supreme's Metallurgists, with a Bachelors of Engineering Degree in Metallurgy from National Institute of Technology Mangalore, India and also holds a Master’s degree in Marketing Management from Mumbai University. He has extensive knowledge of Casting, Material selection and application, Heat Treatment and Welding.
Marcus Dixon Mechanical Design Engineer Marcus has over 16 years experience in mechanical design and development, and has been responsible for a range of projects in high volume manufacturing to patented technology prototyping in NZ and the UK. Liaises with customers, toolmakers and production staff throughout the product rollout to ensure customer specification is met. Graduating from Canterbury University in 1996 he holds a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering with honours. My role at Supreme is to champion our customers product through the manufacturing process. Through a close network of long term suppliers we can add significant value to the casting process, such as reverse engineering, machining, welding or heat treatment. Shaun Burgess Financial Controller Shaun is a financial professional with over 20 years’ experience in mid sized companies manufacturing industrial and consumer products for distribution in domestic and export markets.
